Purchase some homeopathic Hyland's Teething Tablets.
(I actually found them at Walmart in the homeopathic remedies section. They're usually about $6 for a small bottle which may seem pricey but let me tell you ... they are SO worth it. We used these for my son and he was calmed almost instantly.

The directions tell you to place a few tablets in your babies mouth and allow them to dissolve. My pediatrician actually said it was completely safe to give up to 10 tablets at a time.
